Steve and Mary Giacoletto
Dr. Jaimie Ronchetto grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley. A graduate of Hart High School, Dr. Ronchetto went on to earn her undergraduate BS degree from UC Davis, and then graduated with Honors from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. As a Ross University graduate, each student spends their final year of study at a state-side vet school. Dr. Ronchetto spent her final year of study at Cornell University Hospital for Animals, rotating through each department.
Upon graduation, Dr. Ronchetto knew she wanted to move back to her hometown to be able to serve the Santa Clarita community and their furry family members. After spending several years in private practice as an associate veterinarian at other hospitals in the Santa Clarita Valley, Dr. Ronchetto is very excited to now open her own veterinary hospital with the aim of giving dogs, cats and pocket pets outstanding quality care in the areas of medicine and surgery.
Dr. Amber Wheelbarger
Dr. Wheelbarger enjoys caring for all types of animal companions here in Santa Clarita. A local girl, she graduated from Saugus High School in 1992 and California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology in 1996. Going out of state for veterinary school, she graduated from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine with honors. She has over fourteen years of experience as a small animal veterinarian and has special training in Dentistry, Ultrasound and Endoscopy as well as Avian and Exotic Animal Medicine. She interned at the Minnesota Zoo, volunteered at the world renowned Raptor Center, and treated wildlife cases for four years. For eleven years she bred and hand-raised various species of companion parrots. Dr. Wheelbarger is married and has three children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and hiking and biking with her family. In addition to her human children she shares her home with a 26 year old Amazon parrot, Max and fourteen year old Maine coon, Ernie.
Deborah - Office Manager
Deborah has lived in the Santa Clarita/Elizabeth Lake area since 1999. She has wanted to work with animals all of her life, and started taking classes and working in the veterinary field in 2003. She recently married the love of her life, Greg, and is a mother to her three sons whom along with her granddaughter, are the lights of her life. Deboarh received her A.A. Degree in Behavioral Science in 2014. She shares her time from working on her yard at home, playing with her granddaughter and working with her original love (our furry friends!). In her spare time she LOVES to go hiking. Along wither her children/grand-baby living at home, she has her Labrador Retriever (Arizona), one Chihuahua Mix (Princess) and a black DSH kitty (Prince) to complete the happy home!
Erin - Head Receptionist
Erin grew up in the San Fernando Valley. After graduating high school, she knew she wanted to work with animals as she had grown up with animals her whole life and loves them dearly. She got a job at a veterinary hospital where she stayed for four years, then became pregnant and decided to be a stay at home Mom. Now that her son is older and going to school, she decided to come back to the veterinary field to pursue her passion of working with animals. She has four dogs: Daisy Lynn an American Staffordshire Terrier, Bella an Akita, Kady and Max, both shepherd mixes.
Krysti - Receptionist
Krysti has lived in the Santa Clarita Valley since she was 10 years old. Growing up on a farm and being surrounded by animals both big and small has led her to a life dedicated to helping furry family members and the people that love them. Krysti graduated from Saugus High School with honors and certification in the Regional Occupational Program for Advanced Animal Care and Services. She began assisting horse veterinarians then started her career working in Veterinary Hospitals. Over the past 3 years she has been a stay at home Mom for her son Ethan, who also shares a love for animals. During her leave from the Veterinary field Krysti continued supporting the pet community by starting her own service called Perpetual Paw Prints where she offers to help families create personal pet keep sakes and memorials. She is thrilled to be back working in the field again! Krysti enjoys spending her free time with family, riding horses and volunteering at her church. She shares her home with several animals including horses, a mule, goats, emus, dogs, a cat and her two furry children: Riley an 8 year old boxer, Jake the Pirate a 4 year old Pitbull and Rampage a 4 year old Pitbull/Mix.
Sherri - Receptionist
Sherri grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley and graduated from Hart High. She has two beautiful kids, a dog named Taz (Shih-Tzu) and a kitten named Kit (DSH). She loves to spend time with her family, boyfriend, friends as well as riding Harley Motorcycless. She loves to be outside, hiking, camping, boating and beach walks. She also enjoys cooking and loves to travel.
Stephanie - Receptionist
Stephanie grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley until she was 18 and then her family moved to South Lake Tahoe, where she lived for 5 years. After moving back to Santa Clarita, she joined the Cinema Veterinary Centre family! Stephanie has always had a deep love for animals and grew up with pets such as dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and more. While in college, she began shadowing weekly at a veterinary clinic and discovered that not only does she love animals, she also has a great interest in wanting to help them. Stephanie hopes to continue her career in the field of veterinary medicine and one day become an RVT. In her free time she loves hanging out with her roommates, hiking, watching Netflix, and going to Tahoe to visit her mom, brother, her dog Mollie Mae, and her cat Lilah.
Lisa, RVT - Head Technician
Lisa started working in the Veterinary profession 25 years ago and has held positions from Receptionist to Hospital Administrator. The journey learning about animals and their care has been a satisfying part of her life. She loves the constant variety and learning something new every day. Lisa’s favorite parts of veterinary care; the ability to care for your pets oral health, through dental prophylaxis and education, providing safe anesthetic procedures, and client education to start a dog’s journey on a healthy path. Joining CVC as the head technician is a great opportunity to focus on excellent patient care and caring for pet’s people too. Lisa completed school and earned her Registered Veterinary Technician certificate in 2012 through a night course while working full time. When not working at CVC Lisa teaches Animal and Veterinary Science to high schoolers in the Hart District's College and Career Readiness program. She enjoys spending time with her kids, her grandkids, as well as her two doggies, a Labrador named Roxanne, a yorkie named Moses and two kitties, Puka and Junior--doing life. She loves hiking, camping, planting, kayaking and cheering her kids on in sports. She says she feels blessed to be trusted with client's fur kids and enjoys educating and encouraging people and students.
Alyssa - Veterinary Assistant
Alyssa grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley and has loved animals from a very early age. She enjoys going horseback riding, and has been a part of the California Rangers since she was 8 years old, and now helps younger riders to improve on their skills. She graduated from Saugus High School, where she completed an Animal Care and Advanced Animal Care R.O.P. Class. She is currently attending College of the Canyons, and hopes to transfer to a UC in the future. Alyssa spends her days with her two dogs: Molly, a Poodle Terrier Mix, and Bentley, a Wheaten Terrier Lhasa Apso Mix. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing guitar and piano, baking, singing for her church choir, and volunteering when time allows it.
Breanna - Veterinary Assistant
Breanna grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley and has loved animals and caring for them her whole life. She graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2015 with a B.S. degree in Animal Science. She is currently attending Pierce College in the Veterinary Technology program to obtain her RVT license. She could possibly attend veterinary school in the future to obtain her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, but she is not completely sure about it yet. Her favorite part about working in veterinary medicine is getting to be a part of a pet’s journey back to health. She has three pets of her own: Bindee, Buzz and Baylor who are all rescues from shelters in Southern California. When she is not in school or working, she enjoys going shopping, swimming, hiking, taking her dogs to the park and going out to eat.
Hayley - Veterinary Assistant
Hayley grew up in Long Beach, CA. She moved to Santa Clarita in March of 2015. She has grown up with dogs her whole life. Besides loving animals, she was a ballet dancer for 20 years. After retiring from dance, she received her certification for the CVMA veterinary assistant program. She is currently going to College of the Canyons to eventually transfer to a CSU. Outside of work, Hayley enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, friends, family, especially with her mom’s dog Riley (who is a Jack Russell Terrier), as well as hiking, watching movies and baking.
Sarah - Technician Assistant
Sarah grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley. She moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota when she was seventeen to attend the University of North Dakota. Here, she graduated with a B.S. degree in Medical Laboratory Science. Sarah spent her last year of undergrad in Phoenix, Arizona completing clinical laboratory rotations at Banner Desert Medical Center and Cardon Children's Medical Center. At the end of her rotations, she moved back to the Santa Clarita Valley and became a board certified MLS through the American Society of Clinical Pathology. When she isn’t eating or napping, her favorite past times include drawing, hiking, swimming, running, and horseback riding. These hobbies extend to early morning swim workouts with US Masters and weekly lessons teaching kids how to ride horses in a drill team setting. Sarah has always been passionate about animals and would spend her summers home from college volunteering at CVC before she became an official part of the Cinema family. She currently has two dogs (Chloe, a beagle mix, and Cleo, a shih tzu), four red-eared slider turtles, and a draft mule named Dakota.
